Spotify not recognized as music source

Spotify not recognized as music source

Since I updated my iPhone, Spotify constantly is not recognized as a music source. Although I can still listen to music on my phone, I can’t connect my phone to my car or control the music with the easy access controls on headphones or lock screen. I keep seeing the simple fix of restarting or deleting the app, but the is a temporary fix for about 6 hours. When will this be fixed??

This has happened to me in the past and sadly I fixed it by doing exactly as you mentioned only it took me a few times of restarting. I went through the process and even restored my phone from a backup and that eventually got it working once I reinstalled Spotify, maybe something going on with your phone and a cache problem? I'm not sure hope this helps though!
