Spotify now playing bar disappearing + VPN issue

bug in ios app where you have desktop app playing something while behind VPN and ios app doesn't keep up with whats playing on the desktop. Another issue is the now playing bar on ios app disappears and killing the app doesn't bring it back, playing a random song does...

We do not recommend using the app through VPN as it can cause issues similar (but not limited to) what you've just described.

For optimal Spotify experience, we'd suggest using the app without it.

Note: Some VPN services offer the option to exclude specific apps from the VPN tunnel. In case you absolutely require VPN, you can check if this would work better for you 🙂
