Spotify on iPhone Bluetooth Issues

Solved!

Spotify on iPhone Bluetooth Issues

Why won't track information display on my car stereo when in Bluetooth mode? Also, don't have control to change tracks via steering wheel controls.

All of this functionality worked when I had a Galaxy S5

Works fine for me. I know Bluetooth audio in general can be a bit glitchy on iOS. It could also be an issue with the car stereo and something not being compatible.

Basically, I wouldn't assume straight away it's a Spotify issue.

Thanks, I'll check into my car stereo. It's odd. Worked with a Samsung but not my iPhone;however the Bluetooth connects much faster and seems stronger with the iPhone.

My stereo is set up to be iPhone friendly, so connecting via USB is perfect. Didn't like connecting the Samsung with USB.

Not the end of the world by any means. 😄 just didn't want to plug the phone into a charging source every time I get in the car.

Thanks for the reply!

Thanks swanny! I did check into my car stereo and found a Bluetooth firmware update that works with the protocol iPhones use. Presto! Track information and steering wheel play control back in action. Would still love the landscape feature added to the app, but not reall a concern now.
