Spotify over bluetooth and carplay

My Question or Issue

I actually have two questions:

1. when I connect spotify to my car using bluetooth, although I can see the title and artist of the song I'm currently playing, I can't browse the playlist. Other apps like Apple Music, Overcast, etc. do not have this problem. So I don't see why Spotify can't have this feature.

2. when I open spotify using apple carplay, most of the time (8 out of 10) it doesn't work. It will just show me a blank screen and I'm using a lightening cable to connect my iphone to my car.

Just in case you need information about my car (although I don't see why as I've seen similar problem for users with different car models), I'm having a 2018 Audi Q5.

1. That's the new Car View for iOS. You can learn more about it's features here.

2. I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Could you also try updating to iOS 12.2?
