Spotify "30 minutes of ad-free doesn't work

My Question or Issue

 When the quick blurb about tapping to watch the video to get 30 minutes of ad-free music comes up, I tap on Watch Video, and then it goes right to the next song in my playlist. It doesn't play the video, and I get frequent ads. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I don't have that problem on my android device (lg v30).

As additional information, there are two "separate 30 minutes of ad-free" ads. The one with the guy's voice has you tap to watch the video. The one with the girl's voice autoplays the video, and the button says "no thanks". When the ad with the girls voice runs, the video plays, and I go ad-free for that half hour. It's ONLY when the one with the guy's voice tells you to tap the button to watch the video that it doesn't actually play the video, but rather jumps right to the next song in the playlist.
