Spotify sometimes won't play songs immediately

I recently updated spotify and after the update songs won't play right away. Sometimes it works fine and other times I'll click on a new song and it will take a minute before it plays. When I restart my iphone it'll work fine for a couple minutes and start doing the same thing again. Is there a way to fix this? Before the update it worked perfectly. Also, it works fine on my computer.

I have the same issue. It drives me nuts. Its so bad its like one out of every five songs this will happen.

Hey guys, definitely not right that this is happening! Are you guys able to possibly try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and let us know if this issue still occurs?

If the issue is still occurring, can you please advise what device you are using, what version of iOS you are on and what version of the Spotify app you are running?
