Spotify stops playing after each song

Solved!

Spotify stops playing after each song

Hello everyone,

I am a Premium User of Spotify and have a huge problem since 2-3 Weeks with my Spotify.

I use it on 3 devices:

- My Dekstop PC (dont know, newest i guess, last login yesterday)

- My Android Tablet (4.4.0.1008)

- My iPhone (4.7.0.985)

The Search for this topic showed many topics but none of them could solve my problem. Multiple times reinstalling on all devices, Remove devices from account and reload my playlists for offlineplay.

The problem affects streaming and offline play at the same time.

Worst that happend was last weekend when i was using the subway, of course i use offline play there but it wasnt even possbly to play my offline music, it seemed he always needed cellular connection. But since our cellular network in the subway is crap every song needed to load so long that i already arrived at my destination when it finally began to play lol. (i also activated offline mode to force my phone to go offline but then it didnt play anything...)

I dont know what to do, is something broken with my Account? My Account is payed as always, subscription is okay.

My offline playlists hit about 500 Songs which shouldnt be a problem.

I also read about a limit of 3xxx Songs for my spotify... i subscribed to a playlist from someone else with about 2349 songs in it, could this cause the problem or is this limit only for the offline music?

On another thread i read that someone did use bluetooth headphones, so did i about 2-3 weeks ago. I used them only for a few days because my cabled earphones were broken. After i received my new ones i use them of course.

I tried to "remove" those saved bluetooth earphones from my phone and, of course, disabled bluetooth but this also didnt help.

I am out of ideas and i need a solution for this, anger is building up and i dont know if i will continue using spotify if this problem cant be solved 😞

edit: Doesn't matter if i use shuffle/repeat or not, problem is always there.

Hello everyone,

the problem seems to be solved.

What i did:

1. Uninstalling Spotify using iTunes

2. Reinstalling Spotify using appstore on my phone

3. Downloaded all playlists on my desktop PC which i als would download with my phone.

4. Downloaded all playlists on my phone

Then it worked again, maybe spotify was out of sync and wanted me to download the playlists on my desktop before it would "allow" me to hear my songs offline.

Problem still exists 😞

EDIT:  It seems spotify always wants a Internetconnection now. While i listened to a downloaded playlist i deactivated alle Data Traffice (WLAN+Cellular) and then i cant even fast forward to the next song. If i press play nothing happens and if i pause again still nothing happens.

What is the problem here? Why wont Spotify let me use my files offline?

Great. Unfortunately how much time did that take you?

Spotify needs to own this problem. Each device has a unique address.  If I uninstall Spotify on my phone due to a Spotify technical issue and then reinstall it on the same phone, it should not count as my fourth device.

Regards Paul.
