Spotify sync local files to iphone - driving me crazy!

I just purchased the Taylor Swift album - the actual CD - and I have the mp3 files on my computer. I drag them into Spotify just fine, but it won't let me sync the files - just these files - to my phone! Other local files sync just fine, so I assume this doesn't work because Taylor Swift doesn't have her music on Spotify.

This is crazy! Why shouldn't I be allowed to just sync my local files if I purchased them. I even changed the filenames and artist in the files, reconverted to different mp3 files, reinstalled spotify on all my devices...i've wasted so much time on this. I hate this spotify experience.

I've heard about other people having the same problem trying to sync Taylor Swift songs.

I suggest you contact support. They might know how to to fix this.
