Spotify unexpectically crashes iPhone 6, iPad mini

Spotify app keeps crashing at unpredictable times sometimes 5 mins sometime over an hour. Very prone to crash when going through different internet connections. Or when browsing through the app.
Tried uninstalling/installing worked well for a month now same problem. Tried deleting bulk songs, tried offline mode, tried restarting phone. Only started happening once I did a apple 'update' a few months back so just wondering who's at fault and how do I fix it without uninstalling every month and having to re-sync all my songs and playlists again.
