Spotify uses too much 3G traffic for premium subscription

Spotify uses too much 3G traffic for premium subscription

Hi there,

I have the premium subscription and I've downloaded several playlists on my iPhone.

I've found that for the last 20 days Spotify had been used 50GB traffic and Spotify had downloaded the biggest amount of traffic comparing to all other applications. I've switched off the 3G option for Spotify but it's all the time complaining that's "Cellular Data is Turned Off".

I don't understand few things:

1) what does Spotify download all the time?

2) why is it required to turn on 3G if I'm the premium subsriber and I pay 10 euros for listening music _offline_

3) how can I open an official case with Spotify support?

Thanks in advance,

Maksym

Hello! That does seem very strange! Seems like way to much data. Just to check have you downloaded your playlists for offline listening and have you put Spotify in offline mode?
What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?

Hi Christoffer,

Yes, I've created the playlist and downloaded all music into my spotify application on iPhone.

You can also open a case with Spotify support using the online contact form and they can investigate this a little closer for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
