My Question or Issue
In the past two days I have been unable to play any music on either my iPad or iPhone - though playback on my iMac is OK. I have tried all the recommended 'fixes' but nothing has made any difference. I normally play music via a Brennan hard disc player/ cd ripper which operates via Librespot. I have reinstalled this but it still has not worked. The Brennan device shows up on the list of speaker options but when clicked, it disappears and no music plays. The iPad/iPhone will not even play Spotify music directly. Everything was working perfectly until two days ago.

Hey there @williamsimonwallace! Hope you're doing well!
Just to clarify, I see you mentioned iOS 10 and iOS 17 in your post. Can you confirm which OS version your Apple devices are running?
You can check this article for the supported OS versions. If your device doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements, you’ll need to upgrade it to install the Spotify app.

Thanks Mateus. I can confirm that my iOS is 17.6.1

Thanks @williamsimonwallace!
Can you try a clean reinstall by following these steps? This process is more thorough than a regular one and can help get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.
Let me know how this goes.
