Spotify won't work on my iPhone.

Hello! I have an iPhone SE that is currently updated to the latest iOS update (11). I have had this problem for a while now. On WiFi Spotify works perfectly and plays just like it should with no errors. However whenever I am not on WiFi a song will start and then it will stop playing. The Pause icon is shown, as if it was still playing. The only way to correct the problem is to skip the song I'm currently on to go to the next one, where the same problem usually happens. How can I fix this other than downloading music from Spotify? Thanks!
