Static noise, but only when streaming Spotify from iPhone to Chromecast Audio

Hi!

So I have this little problem:

I "sometimes" get a little "static noise" when I listen to spotify on the CCA. BUT, this only occurs when I cast from the spotify app on my iPhone and it is always at the exact same place in the track. The noise/click is not loud, it is in fact very subtle, but still very annoying.

There is NO problem when I:

Cast from spotify webplayer in chrome to CCA .

Cast from Tidal on iPhone to CCA ("lossless", so wifi+internet should be sufficient)

My setup:

iPhone 5s (iOS 10.2.1)

Spotify: 7.8.0.404 (tried setting different "streaming quality" before casting)

CCA: 1.22.78337 (with original power/usb-adapter) It is not far from the router.
 - Tried both optical and analog (HDR), also changed to new cables.

Router: Asus RT-N56U (UPnP enabled)

 - Tried both Firmwares: "PADAVAN 3.4.3.9-099" and "ASUS 3.0.0.4.380_4180-ge57f472"

 - Tried both "only 2.4ghz" and "only 5ghz" (and have no neighbors)

Receiver: NAD T747 (in stereo-mode)

Speakers: XTZ 99.25 MKII (they are lovely)

Internet: 100/10 Mbit/s (fiber)

Not that anybody seems to care 😉

But I also tried with an iPad mini and iPad air with latest ios an latest spotify-app...

Same problem.
