Stopped working!

Stopped working!

I've been using spotify for months now, I pay for premium, I have it on a few devices. And this morning all the tracks became unavailable and it was the same for all the other devices too. I'm currently using it offline as I'm abroad. The message tells me to plug my device into the computer, but I can't, it also says that I need to own the songs? Is there any way of solving this? And what the problem is.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

What device is this?

Please note that if you've been there for more than 30days you will need to come back online briefly just so it can verify your subscription, then you can go offline for another 30days.

If these songs in your playlist were added as local tracks rather than Spotify songs, that might explain it, but going online again might fix it.

They aren't local tracks. They are still listed, but I can't select a song, they're unavailable, all my playlists are there I can see all the song but now listen to them. The device I'm using is a IPhone but another device I have is HTC and it's also the same.

The message is telling me that premium is required, but I pay for premium and have been for the last few months, so it can't be the end of a free trial.

Can you just confirm when you sign into your online overview it shows you have an active Spotify Premium account?

I've just been onto the overview, it says I'm currently using spotify free. But it has payment details and card details as receipts for spotify premium are there, except the payment for August, spotify has definitely been used, but it's still got my card details but the payment hasn't gone through for this month.

@pgw300496 - If that is the case then the system was most likely just unable to take payment this month for some reason (check your emails, you normally get an email each time a payment fails). You should be safe to simple resubscribe from your online account to get back to premium.
