Stuck on shuffle cannot get rid of it

Try un-pressing the shuffle button at the bottom right of the desktop window. In an iPhone or Android next to the pause button.

Do you have an active subscription to Spotify Premium? Unfortunately on-demand listening is a premium-only feature. Spotify Free adds suggested songs based on the artist you're listening to when listening to music. You can't turn of shuffle with Spotify Free. I'm stuck in an extremely frustrating loop.  All thr troubleshooting tips I've read only force an ad to pop up on my phone asking me to upgrade to the Spotify premium I ALREADY HAVE!   DOwn at the bottom it says "just hit next"....  there is no next.  I dont seem to be in small company in finding it hard to sign up for a simple music streaming service.  If I have Premium and am getting charged for it...  why do I keep getting ads?  why wont the Upgrade ad from spotify allow my to navigate out of this never-ending cycle?  Wanting to do the right thing and pay for music but....
