Syncing Local music from my computer to my Ipod

Hello,
I am trying to connect my iPod touch 5th generation with spotify, I couldn't get it to connect with spotify so I connected with iTunes. I still want to connect it to spotify so I can get my local files songs on my iPod.
can y'all please tell me what I can do?

The devices section will be coming back to the Spotify desktop app in a future update.

In the meantime:
You won't be able to see an indication in the desktop client that the device is paired with the desktop client. But as long as they both are on the same WiFi network you should be able to trigger the local files sync by toggling the offline toggle on the playlist on your device. Just make sure that the local files are in a playlist of their own so that this will work.

1. Using the desktop app, add local music files you want to sync to a playlist.
2. Download and log into the Spotify app on your iPhone using the same WiFi network as your desktop.
3. Tap the menu button ().
4. Tap Your Music.
   
5. Tap Playlists.
   
6. Tap the playlist containing local files from your computer.
7. Select the playlist containing the local music files and press the Available Offline switch at the top.
   
8. A green arrow will appear next to the tracks when syncing is complete.

I do the steps and it still doesnt work for me they are still grayed out even tried doing it with the phone connected to laptop but no result 😞

I have exactly the same problem 😞 my local files used to all work and now don't. Anyone know why?
