Hi there @rockguy and welcome to the community!
Are you talking about local music on your computer that you have purchased outside of Spotify or playlists comprised of music you found on Spotify?
If the latter is the case, unfortunately, you cannot download your playlists to the iPod Nano because the Nano does not support installinga and running apps. Spotify requires you to run the app in order to play the music. All music downloaded has to tie into the app to play.

No,
I am trying to sync the music playlists i made on spotify to my ipod nano 4th gen,
Thanks,
Rockguy
I need help with this since i have no music on my ipod
You can only sync local files (music you own as mp3s). Spotify content can only be downloaded to devices running a spotify app I'm afraid.

It's very misleading. Why are the offline Spotify playlists shown (with a checkbox) when I click on my Nano device in the Spotify program if I can't sync them? When I click the checkbox, why does the Nano say synching and the playlist in Spotify shows the synching symbol if it is not actually synching? thanks
Yes it is very strange
I used to be able to sync playlists to my Nano, not only local files. Suddenly this changed - no warning.... why?
thats what i want to know:(
Hello peeps I need your help,
I am trying to sync my iPod nano with my Spotify music, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It ( Ipod ) won't show up on my screen, I don't get the pop-up window to sync my Spotify music with the iPod. How do I find it and sync it?
