The first istants of a song are "replayed" rapidly causing a starting glitch to the song

So, I've had this issue for almos two days and I've done every possible thing to fix this glitch. As written in the title, every time I want to listen again to a song and I drag the song bar through my lock screen to 00:00, the very first second of the song is replayed 6-7 times rapidly, making a very weird glitchy sound (I've attached a video example of what I'm talking about). I've tried deleting Spotify over and over again, resetted my phone's settings but nothing. I don't even know if someone has ever got this issue,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

I checked the screen recording you sent and before hitting play, the album cover displayed is from Playboy Carti's album "Die Lit", but it says Kendrick Lamar, so there might be some damaged cache that's causing this. You mentioned deleting the app a couple of times, but can you try performing a clean reinstall instead? I'd also recommend logging out and back in a couple of times in a row to make sure everything's synced. 

 

It's also worth checking if this happens on another device, so it'd be great if you can log in your account on a friend or relative's phone and test this out. This way we can check if it's device- or account-related.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know the Spotify version you're currently running? Here are the steps on how to check what it is.

Hey Dessi,

sorry for the late response, but I've already deleted the app from the settings and reinstalled; the version is 9.0.26.607 and also about the album cover: the video attached to the original post started when I pressed the next button and a few frames where "Die lit" was still on the screen were recorded, so I think there's nothing wrong with that. Last thing, I've only got this problem on my phone, whilst on my ipad for example everything is alright.

Can you also check the web player and when using a different account? This will help us narrow down the possible cause of the issue.
