Trouble can not add songs to new following playlist.

I have followed my friends new playlist. I have not been able to add songs to the list. When I go to my library the new playlist is listed, but when I go to add song to playlist that particular play list is not available, the others are there and I am able to add to them but not the new one. I am running iPad Pro running 13.3....help needed

Just to confirm, have you made sure that your friend has made their playlist collaborative?

If not, then they'll have to do so in order for you, or indeed anyone else who is following it, to be able to add songs to it.

You can ask your friend to make their playlist collaborative by following the instructions in this support article.

If that's not the issue, could you give us some more info? Is this just happening on the iPad?
