Unable to do anything or play music in the Spotify app

Hi, Spotify had just released less than 24 hours here in South Korea and upon finding out about it I immediately went to install it. After logging in, nothing is displayed apart from the premium plans and settings. There's no search bar for music, no recommended tracks, no library display, nothing. I viewed my own profile and tried to play one of my playlists but it did not work. However if I click on a music link or press "Play on Spotify" in Instagram it redirects me to the app and plays the following song. In general, I cannot do anything in the app.

I just tried googling an artist's Spotify profile and it redirected me to the app. I tried playing their music but it said it's a premium feature too. I'm really confused because as far as I'm aware Spotify is a free music streaming platform and I was able to use Spotify with no problems back in Malaysia as a free user so I don't understand why it's restricting me to play music.

 

I do not know if this is a bug or whatsoever but yeah, I would like help on this.

If you are using Apple device, you can't purchase Premium in app. Check https://www.timetoplayfair.com/facts/ for why.

You can purchase Premium on https://www.spotify.com/kr-ko/premium/#PLANS

 

For South Korea, you can't use Spotify without premium now.
