Unable to play Spotify on Apple Watch away from home

My Question or Issue

As stated above as soon as I leave the house and step outside Spotify shuts off on my watch.  I have no problem with Spotify taking my iphone with me to listen to Spotify Music, but I don't want to lug that heavy thing around when I'm walking.  I was considering going premium but if I cannot listen to it on my watch outside and only in my house, it's not worth it.  Yes, I have a cellular connection, have my bluetooth enabled and have the Spotify app on my watch that is enabled and syncs with my phone,  but that only seems to work when I am home near my Wifi.

Apple Watch will need the iPhone near it since the iPhone will need to be paired with your Apple Watch with Bluetooth. If you're away from your iPhone, you won't be able to use Spotify on your watch until you get near it again. If this is a feature you would like to see in the future, you can always create a new Idea here. Additionally, you won't be able to listen to Spotify on the Apple Watch itself, because the Spotify app on Apple Watch basically serves as a remote for the Spotify app on iPhone.
