Unable to tap on songs

This could just be a premium feature, but for the past few days I have been unable to play any songs if I try to tap on them, even in personal playlists. The only thing that happens is the "Shuffle" button compresses as if it was tapped instead of the song.

I have tried basic things like logging out/back in, restarting the app, and turning my phone off and on again.

Here is my layout:
-iPhone 5S
-Spotify free
-Newest version of the app

I've had Spotify for about a week now. Is playing songs in order a premium feature?

Yes it is a premium feature. You get 5 free skips every hour though.
