Unwanted Suggested Songs

I have a non-Premium account with multiple playlists consisting of more than 20 songs, but ever since this past hour it plays "suggested songs" instead of what's on my playlist. I've turned off the auto-play setting, made sure it was on the actual playlist and not the radio, and tried creating a duplicate of those playlists. No matter what I do, some stupid songs I don't even listen to keeps playing. Help?

To check, when you click Shuffle Play at the top of the playlist, and the playlist begins playing tracks, can you see the banner at the top that says "Playing From Playlist..." with the playlist title?

It'd also be useful to know the following:

• If you skip tracks regularly and reach the limit
• If you have the Repeat setting toggled on
• Your exact device model and iOS version
• Your version of Spotify

You've said that you toggle Autoplay off. It might be useful to see a screenshot of the other toggles in the Playback menu in your Settings, to see if we can suggest anything else.
