Unwanted content on playlist

When I was using spotify  today after going back to free from premium, several new albums had been added to my playlist that I didn't add. I'm the only person who uses this phone. The albums added were explicit for bad language and not even remotely the kind of music on my spotify playlists. . When I tried to delete them from my playlist it said I couldn't because I hadn't saved anything from that artist. If I hadn't saved anything how did they end up on my playlist. I checked the artist page and it said I wasn't following him. Any ideas as to how this happened and how I can make sure I don't need to listen to this rubbish again. Oh, and every time I skipped it just played the next song on this album even though I had shuffle play activated. Then it wouldn't let me skip because I have a free account so I had to let the album play on.
