Update of iPad App - "my music" etc. missing

Hey Spotify,

I just want to ask you, there was an update for Android and also the Apple iPhones, of the App - with this new feature to save Artists or Songs or even Albums - not as earlier when you only had the possibility to save something as playlist.

But this update didn't reach the iPad App - when will it??

What is the plan - because it is annoying that you save the music on two devices and on the iPad you'll have to save as playlist and the possibilities to search for a album or an artist are much better then scroll through the list of playlists (like we have to, on the iPad)

Hello @fiebz and welcome to the community! Spotify's development team is working on an update for the iPad and one should be available soon, but unfortunately, there is no publicly made announcement on the time that this will be completed.

I really wish well meaning Rock Stars would stop placating customers with unjustified talk of things "coming soon".

We have been told this will be "coming soon" since November last year and periodically since. The last, closest to official, line came from support about a month ago when they said to a forum member "As you're already fully aware, there's not been an update for the iPad recently, meaning it doesn't have the Your Music feature like the osther devices we support do. As much as I'd love to be able to tell you that we're going to release an update soon, there's currently no plans to do so. Sorry about that!" Of course it probably WILL happen ONE DAY; it's got to right! But unless someone from Spotify finally decides to chip into one of these threads and make an official statement, I really don't think ANYONE should be reassuring customers about this being about to arrive! The right thing to say is "yeah, many here share your pain, this does need to be fixed but Spotify have yet to commit to it. Please vote for this idea: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Your-Music-should-be-available-on-the-iPad/idi-p/72175... ". It is worth noting, this idea, created in March, is still listed as "new" and not even "good" or "under consideration", let alone "watch this space"!

So someone thinks they are doing something, although this post was within days of the contradictory one I linked to. But we don't know who to believe when no one is prepared to give a truly official update to any of the many threads or the Idea, so I'd still say we cannot reassure people and should instead encourage people to comment/vote on the Idea: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Your-Music-should-be-available-on-the-iPad/idi-p/72175...
