Volume reduces on lockscreen

My Question or Issue

Volume goes quiet intermittently when listening to Spotify on my iPhone. I have to close Spotify then re-open it again for it to resolve. Very annoying. Any ideas on how to fix it?

This is an odd behavior. To start investigating this issue, would you mind confirming if you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app? If not we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different mobile device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly, include in your next response the model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

My Question or Issue

This has been ongoing for over a year now, when playing music out of my phone speakers (not headphones or bluetooth speakers) my music will turn itself down quite significantly, without actually reflecting that volume change on my phones volume slider. So the volume level doesnt change at all but the sound drops.

This usually happens when I close the screen of my phone, or wake my phone, or get a notification that wakes my screen. It doesn't happen every single time these things happen, but it happens often enough that it's frustrating haha.

Its only fixed by closing Spotify from background apps and restarting, only for it to happen again almost instantly. I'll have to close Spotify from the background and restart multiple times before it stops dropping my volume down.

I have tried reinstalling Spotify, clearing cache, turning attention aware settings off, updating my iOS. Nothing has fixed it and its been like this for a year or so now.
