Waze bar in Spotify

I see there are a thread on this issue already, but I have followed those instructions and the problem persists. I have even deleted the Waze app from my phone but it is still showing upon launch of Spotify when connected to a car by Bluetooth. 

I was running the latest version of Waze at the point of this post, and my device is an iPhone X running iOS 11.1.1.

Hi k_man!
If you have already tried disconnecting Waze through the Spotify app than you can also disconnect it from Waze itself. I'm not sure which one you have tried, but have attached some screenshots to disable it in the Waze app.
