What has happened to my display? HELP!

Today my display, when viewing the app, has changed from a "split" view, with the search pane on the left and the "active" pane on the right to a single full screen view.

I profoundly dislike this, it is as if 50% of what I was getting from the app has been taken away and I am back to some 1990 web version 2.1 interface.

Can this be fixed? It really feels cheap and rubbishy compared to the way it used to be.

This isn't an upgrade, nor is it an improvement. What I want is a genuine response here. Not some newspeak glamorising of functional downgrades.

Looks like some management decision to ditch the custom iPad app for a unified iOS app base to save development cost by sacrificing the user experience. Bad decision. I hope there is enough backlash to revert that. Why would I want new features if the features I wanted were in fact the ones you just removed. Maybe a music player only needs so many new features.

Faster? Why does the app need updates faster? I'd rather have an app that I can use without pulling my hair out in frustration.

I want someone to listen and bring back the functionality that led to me signing up in the first place.

This is not an upgrade.  It's a downgrade and reduces functionality.  The interface is much less friendly.  Change it back.  Bad decision here.

Worst UI ever in IOS 8.3.0 on an Ipad. Give us the old version of the IO back right now! I couldn't care less about new versions being released faster if I have to use this UI!

Who in their right. Inds wanted to unify the ipad screen layout like a phone layout?

this is so shortsighted. And to say that we benefit from it by having faster updates. What a load of **bleep**. Who wants a faster update when you totally ruined the screen.

There are so many people complaining right now, it would be stupid not to turn it back asap. Listen to your users Spotify!!

I feel really insulted by this "upgrade". And speaking about new iPad features - I hope you mean ability to view and edit queue, which is absent on iPad FOR YEARS! (Other than that it WAS a good and kinda intuitive app.)

I've been a spotify user since beta and seen some funny decisions in that time but the new ipad version is the worse one yet.

The old app was beautifully designed, the new one is absolutely horrible in comparison and that's me being polite.

This update was like going home with a beautiful women and waking up with a transvestite.
