When offline the swipe right motion on album tracks does not work as expected

Reading https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Reporting-a-bug-How-does-this-work/idi-p/908157, I went and found an existing thread https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Queue-swipe-won-t-work-offline/m-p/4329776, yet it seems both locked and unresolved. This is a rather annoying bug with a potentially easy resolution, so I'm reopening this in hopes of someone looking at it again.

Short description:

When offline the swipe right motion on album tracks does not work as expected.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Turn iphone into airplane mode without wifi
2. Open spotify app
3. Go to 'Your Library'
4. Select an album that is available offline as indicated by a green downwards arrow
5. Click on song to play it
6. Navigate to another offline available song and swipe right on it to add it to the playback queue

Expected behavior:

Pop up appears that indicates the song has been added to the playback queue saying 'Added to Queue' and the song is added to the playback queue.
This is the behavior online and when manually choosing the song menu item 'Add to queue'.

Current behavior:

No pop up and the song is not added to the playback queue.

Device info:

Iphone 7 IOS 12.2
Spotify app version 8.5.6.630

Note the bug has been here for at least a couple month.

Suspected reason:

The swipe right motion either doesn't share a code path with the song menu item add to queue, or performs some additional functionality before calling into the song menu item code. This additional functionality I suspect performs some network IO and that fails, which as a result stops the add to queue code from ever being called. That would explain the discrepancy between online and offline.
