When trying to access premium I get "In app purchases not available in your region"

On my old iphone 5, if I chose "upgrade to premium" it allowed me enter my itunes password and it all worked, although I didn't actually action payment. Since upgrading phone as soon as I click on "get Premium" I get the message"In app purchases not available in your region"

Iphone 6+

iOS 8.3

Device not jailbroken

Playlists = 1, not synced for offline use

Mobile spotify version: 2.9.0.1954

Provider: O2 UK

I've attempted to delete and reinstall the app but this doesn't resolve the issue

Hello, I had the same problem and I solved it with this link, you'll just have to subscribe Spotify Premium from the app store on your iPhone  : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
