Where is the "What’s New Feed"?

Where is the "What’s New Feed"?

Hello team!

In late July (26th) Spotify announced a feature that I was expecting for years: the What’s New Feed.

Since then, the feature is no where to be seen nor on my iPhone 12 mini, nor on my iPad Pro. Does someone actually seen it for real?

Hey there @yoonnel,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

This cool feature is still rolling out, so it might take a couple more weeks for it to appear on your account. Make sure to keep the app updated so you don't miss out on anything 🙂

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

Cheers!

@Eni

I am having issues with my "whats new tab" in that is showing 99% classical music and ASMR music when I don't listen to or follow any of that kind of music. Is there any way to stop my "whats new" tab from showing certain types of music as it is a redundant feature for me at the moment when it doesn't show me relevant music.

Hi there @Orlando146,

Thank you for your reply.

There are multiple things to take into account when talking about this feature and the content it shows. "What’s New" contains up to 100 of the latest releases from artists and shows that you follow, displayed in reverse chronological order, updated in real time.

New releases will show up immediately in the feed after you start following one artist or a show. And at a maximum, it can contain releases up to 60 days old.

Taking this into account, if you're only getting recommendations of the same kind, we suggest you review your followed artists/podcasts and clean up what you're not interested in and follow more of what you like.

Also keep in mind that if your favorite artists haven't released music in the past 60 days, nothing new will be shown from them.

Let us know if you have any questions.
