Why am I only hearing random music?

I'm trying to listen to an album on my iPhone X.

As a free user, I'm aware that I might occasionally be hearing advertisements, as well as randomly chosen music.

The problem is that after a while, I noticed that I'm no longer getting any songs from the album I was trying to listen to.

The album I'm trying to listen to is "Nier: Glory to Mankind"

At first I got a couple of Nier music, then Fallout 4 followed by some ad, then a couple more Nier music, followed by Shovel Knight and another ad, then Nier again.

After a while I noticed that I was no longer listening to Nier at all.

I decided to look at the "Next On Shuffle" list. Apparently, the next 4 tracks were going to be from the Nier album again.

Instead I got Ace Attorney, F-Zero, Sonic, Overwatch and now it's Berserk (not even gaming themed any more).

It's clear that the Spotify app doesn't want me to listen to that particular album anymore. Since this "feature" was never documented as one of the restrictions of being a free user, I'm going to assume that it's a bug. And since it's a bug, I assume it might also affect Premium users.

I was considering getting a Premium subscription if I liked the service, but this bug doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the service (I'm especially on edge since I've been unable to use Crunchyroll for several months this year due to a bug, despite being a Premium user).

Does anybody know how I can get Spotify to return to my album?

PS: it just finished playing Final Fantasy and now I'm listening to Dark Souls.
