Why was the Search/Filter moved to a new and more complicated view without swiping behaviour?

My Question or Issue

Why was the old filtering/search behaviour removed?

I'm refering to actually filter the current TableView/List you are viewing, now you are taken to a completely new view and the big issue is that the swiping behaviour to Queue/Like is completely gone, and now the 3 dots have to be pressed in order to access this function (2 extra taps). Why two different beheaviours for the same type of list?

What's the point of this horrible UX decissions? First the Edit view, now this? It feels completely alien to iOS behaviour and a regression on usability.
