Will he get notified if i am logged in without pressing play?

Hey there,

So my partner has logged into his spotify account on my phone recently while also being logged in on his own phone.

I can still see what he is listening to through my device as his account is still logged in on my phone.

I just wanted to know if he would get notified that i am "watching" what he is listening to.

I have not pressed play or pause, simply just seeing what is being listened to on his device.

Both devices are iphones…

Will he get notified?

Hey @joosho,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

As long as you don't interfere with the playback your partner won't know that you're observing his listening activity.

You can tell him to share his listening activity as well, without the need for you to be logged in on his account as an account should be used only by one person. Here is how to share the listening activity.
