My Question or Issue

Hello,
I would like to ask a question:
When I am going on the apple watch to “your library” -> “podcasts” -> “your episodes” the last saved episode is automatically played.
I cannot see what is included in the “your episodes”.
I would say I will be able to choose which saved episode will be played.
Is it somehow possible to pick a specific episode from “your episodes” to be played on the apple watch?
Thank you very much.

Hey @BranciS,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

We could reproduce it ourselves and what you're saying is a normal behavior of the app that the last episode is played.

On another note, to answer your last question - yes it is possible to see full list of episodes, you need to Follow the podcast.
Go to Your Library >Podcast. Then you should see Your Episodes section and underneath the podcast you follow. Click on the desired podcast and the list will appear and you can choose which one to play.

We also have this thread here, where some users are experiencing issues with the Your Episodes folder, but it sounds like your situation is a bit different. Could you take a look and let us know?

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi Elena,

thank you for your reply.

If I go to the specific podcast, I see there all episodes. I cannot pick the ones which I saved to the “your episodes”, or is it somehow possible?

If it is not possible then I will search for the episode which I previously saved to “your episodes” ages on the apple watch. I believe, for this reason there is the “your episodes” so you do not to go to all individual podcast and find the episode which you would like to play - it is time consuming, but you can just pick the episode from the list where are all the episodes from all podcast which I previously saved.

The issue in the thread you mentioned above is different topic.

So, is it somehow possible to select a specific episode from “your episodes” list on apple watch, just same as it is possible on ios app?

Thank you very much.

Hey @BranciS

Thanks for getting back to us!

There is a slight difference between Spotify app's performance on the iPhone and the one on the Apple Watch.

As mentioned by @Elena the last episode you were listening to will start playing by default when you click on "Your Episodes" on your watch.  As of now, a list to select from is not displayed there.  Selection will be possible only when you go to the individual podcast's list.

On another note, Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience and if you think other users would like to see this feature available, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration.

You'll also find all the relevant info about our Idea Exchange and how the Community feedback gets implemented here if you'd like to know more about the topic.

Cheers!
