Your Music erased after update

Your Music erased after update

After a recent update all my songs and albums in 'your music have disappeared. I spent ages adding them all when you removed the library feature which was buggy in its own right! And now they have all been removed from my mobile device again. The artists section is only one that has anything listed other than 'discover', but this only shows artists I have followed with 0 tracks from each.
How do I get all my music back so that it is accessible in one place so I can shuffle through it on my mobile???

I am also having an issue with downloading offline playlists. When I select new playlists as offline on my mobile they seem to display a grey offline icon (circular down arrow) but never seem to download correctly or be available when the phone is not online.

Any help with these issues would be appreciated, cause I love using spotify but it's really frustrating when everything breaks after each update you release.

Hello!

I am sorry to hear that, as it's very frustrating when your songs disappear. Unfortunately I cannot help you, but you can fill out the 'Spotify Contact Form'.

Thanks for getting back to me Markus. I have tried to contact spotify and notify them of these issues repeatedly this morning but I get the error message saying "lp submission limit" in a red box after attempting to send the form and then nothing else happens.

Nothing seems to be working properly with spotify at the moment??

Is there any other way to contact them about these issues?

Did you not receive an automated response @steve_sjbc ? If you did, reply to it by email and you'll hear back from spotify shortly.

 

Have you tried reinstalling spotify?

I just did the latest spotify update 29/08/2017 4pm New Zealand time and it completley erased all of my downloaded offline music!!

 

I guess spotify know they made a boo boo and are hiding.
