finding podcasts on spotify kids

I am not able to get to podcasts from my kids spotify account on the spotify kids app on ipad. As an example one of my kids is setup with age 6-12 and I am not able to find the national geographic greeking out podcast on that app

Keep in mind that the Spotify Kids app has different content available as per its age restrictions. Unfortunately, podcast content is not currently available on the Kids app. You can find more info about it here.

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind this. We keep getting emails advertising stories and podcasts specifically geared toward children. We can create playlists and share any explicit song with them we'd like, but we can't allow them to listen to podcasts designed for them?

I have the exact same situation—for the exact same podcast. Would love to give my child access to Greeking Out

It would be useful if parents could approve podcasts to be added/shared to their kid's account. Spotify Kids is really falling short here. I'm paying extra just so my kid can continue to use my account for podcasts?

This is a serious fail on Spotify's part. I specifically upgraded to Family so my kids' podcasts would stop influencing the algorithm on my account, and now I discover podcasts aren't even included. In whose world did this make sense?

Totally agree that parents should be able to add kid friendly podcasts to the playlist that we share with our kids. If we can add songs that are not available by default on Spotify kids why can't we add podcasts. 

Please consider this as an option.

Yeah this needs to be updated for this exact pod cast. If you give us parental controls actually allow us to control it.

Same! There are so many podcasts especially for kids (in whatever language) that they should also be available in the kids app via shared playlists. This should be update asap...

I am also here to say this! It's still not available. I now have to look elsewhere Spotify. A real fail.

To add to the frustration we parents also cannot add appropriate audiobooks to the shared playlist with our kids. 

I have a 10 year old who is not ready for full spotify access but who is crying out for educational podcasts and age appropriate audiobooks. Please help Spotify. This should be a simple change in code.

This shortcoming makes the Kids platform virtually useless as our daughters primarily use it for listening to podcasts.

I agree, I just upgraded my account to family so they can listen to their own podcasts and audiobooks.  Such a disappointment! Please consider updating asap!

Agreed. Even if the only access to podcasts is via the shared playlist from a parent, there should be a way to allow podcast episodes. Especially in light of the fact that I’m paying more for a family account! Please fix this quickly!! I really don’t  want to downgrade or cancel my subscription… but I will.

ah geez, what is the actual point of having a "spotify kids" app that doesn't include KIDS PODCASTS!?  Do better spotify.

This is INCERDIBLY disappointing. The main reason I signed up for family plan was so my kid could listen to their fav podcasts like Greeking Out and Mrs Honeybee on their own time. I hope this is updated ASAP.

"quelle histoire"  is a podcast that tells historical facts to children. It's very age-appropriate and helps them understand and learn about important events and people in this world. It would be great to add it to the Spotify kids app.
