iOS 8 - Metadata no longer working on certain radios

I had an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.2 and the Spotify metadata (track info) showed just fine on my Pioneer Z150.

After receiving an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8, the Spotify metadata no longer works on the Z150.  I also updated to iOS 8.0.2 and still no metadata from Spotify.  Here's the kicker, the metadata from Spotify works just fine on my factory Subaru radio.

Metadata from the stock iOS Music app works perfectly on the Z150 so I wouldn't think the radio is the problem.  But, at the same time, it works on a factory radio so you would think the Spotify app is ok.

Anyone else having issues with iOS 8 Spotify metadata showing on aftermarket radios?  Maybe it's just an aftermarket radio issue.
