SInce the whole standard procedure isn't working, you should try contacting Spotify. You can go in their website and they'll have a help section that should give you the FAQ option, the community option and the option to contact them. You can report this to them and they might help you fix it. I'm sorry I couldn't directly help. Good luck.

This happened to me too. Every time I would play a song it would crash so I tried resetting my phone and still no hope Spotify 6.8.0
