[iOS][Other] Reduce loud sounds compatibility with iPhones

[iOS][Other] Reduce loud sounds compatibility with iPhones

On my iPhone, I often have the “Reduce Loud Sounds” function turned on and set to the most reduction level at 75db. However, whenever this is turned on, sounds from Spotify’s playback is increased despite turning on quiet playback in Spotify’s settings. The only remedy right now is to turn that slider up to a higher db or turn the function off completely to make Spotify's playback quieter again.

Hey @Gruel1,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, would you mind sharing with us the make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you're running there?

On another note, just to confirm, has the app always been behaving like this, or does it start to happen after a specific event, such as an OS update? Please send us the details about it.

Additionally, we'd like to check: are you listening to music from a Bluetooth device, such as headphones or a speaker? If yes, please send us the details.

Lastly, we'd like to add that the option Volume level under Playback in settings is the only option we offer for that inside the Spotify app. Since you mentioned you've already used it, we can confirm there's no other option like this currently.

Keep us in the loop!
