[iOS] Volume Spike When Using Bluetooth Earphones

Solved!

[iOS] Volume Spike When Using Bluetooth Earphones

Plan

Premium

Country

Singapore

Device

iPhone 12

Operating System

iOS 14.2

My Question or Issue

Using version 8.5.84, I believe this issue only started with this exact version. It occurs when I'm using my bluetooth earphones (Aukey EP-T10) and I pause using either the pause button in the app or the pause control on the earphones. Instead of volume fading out, it spikes to max before pausing

This issue does not occur if I'm playing on the phone's speakers

Hey @Elegater, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

If you're still having trouble, let me know what device this happens on, as well as the current software version. Additionally, let me know what headphones this happens with so I can take a closer look.

Let me know how this goes!

Just tried restarting the device and it worked, thanks! I had tried to reinstall earlier but it didn't work

This happens for me on the ios app and I think it’s when I pause or switch to another app and come back. I know it’s not my phone because the volume down button only has to be pressed twice for it to mute.

The feature that would show you the date you liked a song under “ liked songs”  seems to have been taken off but it was very useful when managing my playlist as I have too many songs added. Another problem I’d suggest be taken a look at is when you’re connected to a Bluetooth device, your phone volume goes all the way up. I get that there’s an option that allows you manage the volume of the Bluetooth device when you’re on the app. It  gets annoying when You accidentally have the app open in the background and you open up a video just for your volume to be all the way up
