Blah blah blah. I wonder if Spotify will even notice this bald and blatant attempt to bump all posts related to this bug.

Mr/Ms Spotify User Support person. Please kindly go kick a little ass on our behalf. Chat with a dev over the lunch break (we're not that scary! Honest!). Bet a bottom pound that they could fix this bug in no time. Then go pee on the CTO's desk for me so he gets all pissed off and irate. Blame me, and explain please why I might consider such unacceptable behaviour acceptable.

Oh pretty please Spotify Forum Moderator... make your day unusual for me!

😄

You sure this isn't because you're scrolling down the page? There's a bunch of us who have that problem. Just asking.

Criminy, another user with this problem. There's a bunch of other threads about this exact problem. So far Dpoyify say something along the lines of 'if you're lucky we'll roll a fix in the next update... but you're probably not lucky, so don't hold your breath or nuffink!'.

Sucks, eh?

Just an update, I posted about a fresh install that worked for me but now the problem is back. ANOTHER reinstall did not take care of it this time?

Yeah, I wonder how quickly these issues come to the attention of the Spotify Crew?

It would be great to have updates on their progress. But I do appreciate and see that they are implementing stuff all the time.

The Implemented list is cool but all the stuff is still from November and we are into Jan. of 2013.

Let me know if you solve it somehow.

Cheers.

Hello everyone

I have exactly the same problem with an iPhone 4.
The first list comes perfectly but when scrolling down until a refresh of the list I get a blank screen.

thank you

everytime i search music , there comes a whole list of cd i can choose from, but when i wait to long everything goes blank .....

i have to put of my i-pod and turn him on again ....then i can search again....till the next moment it goes blank again.

i hope you can help me, beacuase it is frustating that you have to choose very quick what music to play

thank you

i donot know i will pay attention at that and will laet you know!

Everyone in this thread needs to like all posts in the thread (as well as any threads like it speaking to the same problem) to maybe give it a little more visibility. I know I'm grasping at straws here.

Tweet them on twitter with @Spotify and complain there too. Here is a shortened link to this thread that can be used... http://goo.gl/62psh

I intend to tweet them daily until someone from high on the mountain actually comes into this thread and pays some sort of attention to this problem and those having it.

Blog about it on your own blog.

The only thing I know to do is to push on every public avenue available to get their attention.

If I were paying $1 per month for the premium service I might be a little more forgiving, hell I would even be more forgiving if they said anything at all here... I'm a pretty forgiving guy. But don't ignore your customers entirely. Why even have the community site if your not going to engage your customers at all. It makes me feel like I'm talking to some governmental agency, like the IRS.

This is still a problem, why did you Accept a solution?

I was having the same problem.  I had tried uninstalling and installing with no success.  I emailed Spotify and they replied asking me to uninstall, then power down my iphone (4), power up the phone, and reinstall.  It worked for me.  I had previously uninstalled and reinstalled without restarting the phone.  You may want to try it this way.

^^ eyekeyshoe's solution worked for me too! Uninstall, power off, turn on, reinstall, suddenly album search works again. For now... (iphone 4, iOS 5

I'm happy it worked for you.
