iPhone 6 battery with Spotify

I'm looking to purchase and iPhone 6 and battery life is really important to me. The phone seems to have a good battery, but I'm concerned that spotify will drain the battery quickly if I use it often. I have premium and I've read about people having problems with spotify draining their iPhone 5s battery. Any expierences with the iphone 6??

I have an iphone 6 plus and the battery life is amazing. Then again this can be subjective to usage and apps on the device. I can generally get a day in a half on a full charge. I currenly use Deezer for music service and their app does not bother my battery at all.

I used to use Spotify a while back with my iphone 5, to be honest I did not notice battery drain issues but I did have to keep charing the 5 all the time. I not sure if it was spotify or not at that time I never really paid attention.

I recently installed Spotify on my iPhone 6 plus this morming to give them a go again and my battery was in the red by the time i got home from work. Normally its at 90 percent and this is with using Deezer at work and during the drive home.

Since adding Spotify was the only addition I have made I know it was Spotify. Needless to say I have removed it from the phone battery life is more important to me.
