iPhone Spotify premium app not working

Hi my Spotify premium app is not working properly, I have made a playlist and it plays songs fine but every time a song finishes the app shuts down and I have to re-open it up from the start again. I've deleted the app and re-downloaded it again and it still does the same thing, please help me I've paid for it and really want it working!

Sounds like an iOS issue.  Have you updated to the latest iOS version on your phone?  Which iPhone are you using?  Your phone may not support the latest version of the app.
