iPhone XR unable to search - just says 'Loading'

My Question or Issue

Attempting to search or find item on playlist just stops with cycling white dots - text says "Loading" nothing happens. can clear cache after restart of phone, works once then crashes again. This after most recent update two days ago - please advise.

(NOTE: already reinstalled app, restarted phone, cleared cache, logged out and in several times to no effect - suggests recent software update is cause)

Have you tested this with a different network by any chance and does it happen only with this device?
Aside from that, let us know if the issue persists if you download a playlist and switch to Offline mode.
