iPhone not showing up in devices

iPhone not showing up in devices

My iPhone stopped showing up under the devices tab. It just stopped working. It downloads the playlists fine, but it cannot get the local files.

 

I have turned my phone on and off.

I have reinstalled the Spotify desktop client. 

I have turned off my firewall temporarily.

I tried to connect it with the cable.

None of it has worked.

 

I have no idea how to resolve this issue.

For your iPhone to show up under the devices section in the desktop app,

 

both your iPhone and your computer have to be connected to the same WiFi network. Also make sure both apps are logged into the same account.

They are connected to the same WiFi, I have reconnected them twice just to be sure. And both are logged in on the same account 😞
