iPhone won't play the next Spotify song automatically

Can anyone help??? This issue is driving me crazy. Spoken to Spotify a number of times to get a resolution and still no joy. They are saying this is Spotifys fault and I need to wait for an update.
Basically either on wifi or 4g with either a downloaded album or streamed album Spotify won't play more than 1 song at a time despite it being in the queue. It gets stuck at 0.03 - 0.00 sec to go. I've reinstalled the app, removed all other devices, reinstalled my phone. Anyone else heard of this issue? Or managed to resolve it?

1. Is this happening on iPhone and/or iPad?

2. Will it play normally on other devices (Desktop/Web/Another device)

3. Have you tried allowing someone else to log in on your device and see if it plays fine for them?

Yes it works on my iPads fine

No I've not, I can do that tomorrow and let you know how I get on.

Hi Tim,

I have got someone to sign into Spotify on my phone and it also sticks at the end of the song so I can assume it's something wrong with the phone, which I guess to be more problematic.

Logging into another account on my iPhone still has the same issue so I now believe this to be an issue with my iphone.

Try doing the following steps:

1. Sign out of the Spotify app on iOS
2. Delete the app
3. Power off your phone and reboot
4. Re-download the app from the app store and log back in

See if the issue still persists.

I've been having the exact same problem. I just upgraded to an iPhone 6s and that's when the problem started so I thought it might be the phone, but I'm glad it's just the app. I also can't play any of my songs offline, I'll download them and then try to play but it won't even start the song

What happens when you put your phone in airplane mode? Do the songs still not play? Do they show up as being availble offline but just not play?

I'm having the same issue, and it's really annoying...
I tried turning my iPhone's airplane mode on, and my offline playlist's songs won't play. At all.
