Hello! Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, it's impossible to sync iPods that use the lightning connector (image below) with Spotify.

I've seen this "solution" like ten times (using the search function!). This isn't an answer; it's a cop-out...Why not???  More importantly, when will it be fixed. Surely the lightning connection is more advanced technology than the 30-pin, and it's been out for quite a while. So why haven't we resolved the issue? Using spotify on my ipod was the only reason I upgraded, shame on me for not reading the fine print. No offense, but this is ludicrous, spotify, unless apple put some sort of block on your software embedded in the new nanos? I would like a fuller explanation of why.

This post explains that you can't sync ANY ipods (besides touch) with music you do not own. Basically, spotify carefully left out details about the extent of the services you are paying for. Why would I need to pay for premium just so that I can put music I have already purchased on my ipod. This is extremely false advertising, and after seeing others on this forum falling into the same trap, maybe someone should look into displaying this information more clearly in your advertisements.

Spotify, I can already "take my music anywhere," so why is that a selling point? Even buying my CD's from walmart gives the artists more money than you do. Obviously we all thought that we would be able to take YOUR music anywhere. Fix your ads.

Hello,

will there be solution for using the Apple IPod Nano 7g with spotify in the near future? With the lightning connector?
