iTunes imports to MacBook Spotify, but not iPhone

Hello All,

It seems that this is not a new issue ... but I'm seeking help. I have been able to import my iTunes folders to Spotify, and it works just fine on my MacBookPro laptop. But when I try to open those folders/files on my iPhone, some tracks have downloaded, but most have not. The format doesn't seem to make a difference, as some that have dowloaded are mp3, some mp4, some AAC, some protected AAC, and some Apple Lossless files. But after the few tracks have downloaded, when the iPhone is on the same WiFi network as my laptop, when I try to download any further, I just keep getting the message 'waiting to download,' even no nothing is downloading. It's like it gets stuck. I'd really like to be able to use my iTunes tracks in some Spotify playlists, and play them via my phone when I'm mobile. Anyone else have this issue, and/or any guidance on how to fix it?? Thanks!!

Oh, and per the Spotify Help page, I did download the latest version of Quicktime on my MacBook ... although I'm not sure how it would address this problem. Any thoughts here would also be most welcome. Thanks!!
