no radio iphone 4s iOS 6.1

no radio iphone 4s iOS 6.1

Exactly what the title says.  Radio will not open on my premium account on my iPhone 4s iOS 6.1.  I have attempted to delete and reinstall the app but the problem persists. I also logged in using Facebook ID and Spotify ID the problem happened with both logins.

When I connect using my iPad 2 iOS 6.1 the radio works fine but it tells me only premium users can search for tracks.  Again I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and tried logging in with Facebook account and then Spotify account.  Problem persists.

My CentOS PC (Linux) will also not play the radio but I chalk that up to the lack of a proper Linux client.

Please help me to resolve this issue or refund my purchase.  Thank you

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

First thing I would suggest you check is to verify your subscription is active on your online account.
If it says you have premium, but it is not being recognised by your devices I would suggest you have a read at and try the steps outlined in this post.

As for the radio not opening, do you get an error message? Is it for all stations or just certain ones?

Thanks for the response.

A little background... I signed up for the free 30 day trial and removed the automatic renewal.  That expired on Feb 23rd.  Everything worked fine before then.  Today i reactivated my subscription because I was impressed with the service.

As for the radio I have 5 or 6 stations which show up on my ipad and computers but on the iphone there is no stations listed and I cannot place my cursor in the search box.  For lack of a better term its just a dead page but I can navigate away from it without problems (it does not crash the app)

As I was browsing the forum I see that you cannot have Spotify on more than 3 devices.  I guess I have 5. iPhone, iPad, Home PC, and Work PC which has 2 operating systems.  The strange thing is that all these devices worked fine during the 30 day free premium subscription but now that I have paid for my first month I am encountering problems.

Will I have to uninstall Spotify from 2 of my devices?  I understand that I can only listen to music on 1 device at a time and I have no problem with that but I work on many different devices and would really like to access music as I am working on each.

Hey again 🙂

There is no limit on how many devices you can sign in and use Spotify on, the limit is only on devices on which you store offline playlists on. You are allowed to store offline playlists on 3 devices at any given time, with a maximum of 3,333 tracks on each of those devices, but you are free to login and stream on as many as you like.

As for the radio, can you start an artist radio or a playlist like in this topic

Sadly, I don't have an iDevice to play with!

I checked my account it shows a premium subscription that runs out on March 25 2013.

On my iPhone I attempted to add a radio station as per the other thread.  When I click the radio button it redirects me to the radio page but it just continues to be a "dead page".  I then went on my PC and checked my radio stations and there was not a new station for the artist I selected.

I got the iPad working now, premium services and radio.  I deleted the app, restarted the device and reinstalled Spotify sadly the same thing did not work for the iPhone.
